Individual therapy

A regular place to talk, at your pace

For adults who want a private place to talk with a licensed clinician.

Sessions are 50 minutes, in our Anderson office or by video. You and your clinician decide what to talk about, and how fast to go.

At a glance

How it works, in six short answers

  • Who it helps

Adults, 18 and older, who want to talk one on one with a licensed clinician.

  • What sessions look like

You talk, your clinician listens and asks questions, and sometimes suggests something to try. You can say no to anything.

  • The method

Our clinicians work in different ways. Each clinician's page says how they work, and your clinician explains the approach in plain words before you agree to it.

  • What this is not

It is not crisis care, and our clinicians do not prescribe medication. If you need either, we help you find it.

  • Length and frequency

A session is 50 minutes. Your clinician sets the pace with you, and many people start with a weekly session. We do not promise a number of sessions.

  • Through your insurance where we are in network, or yourself, with a written estimate first.

Three questions about this service

Can I pick my clinician?

Yes. Watch the hellos on our clinicians page and tell us who you would like, or tell us what you are looking for and we will suggest someone.

Can I switch clinicians?

Yes, and you do not need to explain. Tell the front desk and we will help you find someone else on the team.

What if I am not sure I need therapy?

A first session is a conversation, not a commitment. You decide at the end whether to go on.
